About this position
The Data Architect serves a technical function in the development and support of the Measurement & Reporting Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Clarity reporting environments. This position works on assigned projects with the purpose of providing assistance and expertise to the customer and IT representatives in how best to organize and provide information to meet the measurement and analytic needs of the organization. The incumbent provides support in the development, analysis, design, and management of a variety of complex data sources and visualization methods to support clinical and operational process improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
Requirements
Education
• BA/BS in Information Technology, healthcare or related business degree
Experience
• Four years experience in technology or related field. • Two years experience in healthcare analytics. • Two years experience working with relational databases and SQL. • General understanding of database principles, processes, technologies and tools. • General understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) - both Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) • Strong verbal communication skills and is comfortable interacting with colleagues at various levels of the organization (including executives). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and wear many hats. • Preferred: experience working with organziational leaders and physicians. • Preferred: general understanding of statistics, LEAN. value stream maping, and other analytical methodologies.
