Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 25 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. About this position
The Therapies Coordinator is a member of the Therapies Center team who supports the care of customers and efficiency of the Therapies team. This includes, but is not limited to, reception and check in, registration and schedule coordination, insurance verification and authorization, compliance activities and maintaining the physical space of the outpatient clinic.
Requirements
Education
• HS diploma or equivalent • Education or experience as a COTA or PTA is desirable but not required
Experience
• Entry level experience with appointment scheduling and coordination • Entry level experience with insurance verification and authorization-rehab or therapies services experience preferred • Proficient with computerized scheduling and medical records systems • Ability to balance work priorities in a rapidly changing environment, exercising decision making and good judgment in regard to customer experience • Ability to resolve conflict and advance professionalism among colleagues • Seeks to advance and refine their skill set to demonstrate personal professional growth and meet the needs of the customer, department, and North Memorial Health • Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write and comprehend non-English language(s) is an additional benefit.
Licensure/Certification
• Must possess current class D driver’s license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record if driving to alternate locations • Must provide annual proof of insurance per hospital policy if driving to alternate locations • Current CPR certification or completion of certification during orientation period. • BLS
