About this position
Supports the hospice service line in meeting regulatory requirements for hospice programs and hospice care delivery.
Hybrid-On Site/Remote/Work from home
This position is eligible to occasionally work remotely in Minnesota ONLY. All applicants should be residents of Minnesota or willing to relocate. A reliable internet connection will be required as well as the expectation you will be working from a quiet, conducive work environment. On-site work will be conducted in Robbinsdale, MN.
Interviews for this position will take place on-site or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

What we’ll expect from you
Accountabilities: • Maintains current knowledge of hospice regulatory requirements. • Monitors program and clinical compliance through routine review including chart review, process reviews, and mock surveys. • Educates hospice team about regulatory requirements and practices that support compliance. • Informs policies and procedures that are associated with regulatory requirements. • Submits audit results to external and internal governing bodies including QAPI. • Supports process improvement initiatives related to compliance. • Participates in the development of corrective actions. • Collaborates with regulatory and quality departments within the organization. • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals. • Demonstrates proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list. • Maintains skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
Compliance • Recognizes and complies with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility. • Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in the Corporate Code of Conduct. • Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer- and/or team member-related information as needed to perform job duties. • Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.

Education
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience • Hospice or home care experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Demonstrated verbal, written, and formal presentation skills. • Demonstrated leadership skills including change management. • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel. • Knowledge of hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation.
Licensure Mandatory
Current licensure as RN in the State of Minnesota.
